"Oldie But Goodie" ATM versus "New Kid On The Block" Debit Card
Debit cards can be used at ATM's and any place that takes Visa. There is no charge to you, the member, when using the card at a merchant if you select CREDIT and SIGN for the transaction.
If you select debit and enter your PIN, you will be charged a fee.
If used at an ATM, you will only be charged if the ATM is not in the Moneypass network (which are US Banks). This charge is not by us, it is being charged to you by the financial institution that is not in the Moneypass network.
ATM cards can be used at ATM's but there is a fee every time it is used unless used at a JMCU ATM only! If you use an ATM that is not in the Moneypass network, you will be charged by the financial institution and us.
If you have checking - you need our debit card! ATM Cards are available on accounts with Savings only.
