Fee Schedule

Most credit unions generally charge fewer and lower fees than most other financial institutions. Please keep in mind that the fees and/or limits imposed on accounts with our credit union are designed to pass on the cost or to recover the cost of providing a specific service to our membership who use them or incur them. They are not structured for JMCU to profit from.

The fees listed are accurate for accounts as of the date indicated below, and are subject to change at any time by our Board of Directors.

 

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN OUR ONLINE BILL PAY AND/OR E-STATEMENTS YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR OUR HOME FINANCIAL SERVICE PROGRAM. You can do this by visiting one of our two locations for an enrollment form for the online bill pay or you may go to our HFS site and sign up for e-statements. If you are not currently signed up for HFS you may do so online.

 

Direct Deposit and Payroll Deduction:

These services provide a safe and convenient way for members to save regularly and repay loans. Other institutions offer the services, but credit unions were the first to make them work.

FEES effective as of 06/07/06

Checking Account - free checking - no monthly charge - no check charge

Business Checking - $4.00 per month service fee if minimum balance of $500 is not maintained. Check fee of $.08 per check if over 20 checks per month

Dividend Bearing Checking - $8.00 per month service fee if minimum balance of $500 is not maintained

Money Markets - $10.00 per month service fee if minimum balance of $2500.00 is not maintained

Overdraft fees - Share draft fee: $25 if returned and/or paid ACH NSF fee: $25 if returned and/or paid VISA Check/Shazam ATM Cards: $25

Miscellaneous fees - Stop payment fee: $10 per item $20 per block

Temporary/Counter Checks - First 12 free - $1.00 per sheet of 4 checks (check order prices vary depending on style - 150 duplicates per box)

Statement printout - $3 current month / $5 prior month(s)

Check copies - $5 per item

Account Research fee - $10 per hour (1 hour minimum)

Fax - $1 per page Dormant Account - $25/year Early Closure - $25 if closed within 90 days Charge backs - $10 per item Garnishments - $25

Collection items - $15 Returned Mail - $5 per year Wire Transfers - International - $40 / Domestic - $15 Credit Union Membership - $25 per share

Travelers Checks - Single Signature: $1 per $100 Two Signature: $1.50 per $100 Gift Checks - $2.50

MONEYPASS ATM Card fees - no monthly charge - $1.50 transaction withdrawals - $.50 per transaction inquiries - $5 replacement card or pin

VISA CheckCard fees - no monthly charge - no charge per use if signature based transaction - PIN (PIN based point of sale (POS) transaction - $1.50

VISA Replacement CARD/PIN fee - $10/$5 VISA GIFT CARD - $3.95

Check Cashing Fee - None for members. 

ONLINE BILL PAY FEES:

Enrollment fee - $5 one-time enrollment fee

E-STATEMENTS ONLY - No monthly charge. Monthly statement will no longer be mailed. You may view your statements through our HFS program.

Monthly Base fee - $4.95 without e-statements

Items included - 15 items Transaction fee: $0.40 per transaction after 15 items Stop payments: $10 per item NSF Returned: $25 and/or NSF paid $25

Inactive fee - $2.50 after three (3) months consequently
